As Chief Marketing Officer, Stacy is responsible for the firm’s overall marketing strategy including print and social media, advertising, public relations, event planning and outreach to professional advisors in the legal and accounting communities. She also works with clients of the firm, overseeing the delivery of Chevy Chase Trust services and resources. Stacy joined the firm in 2006 as a Wealth Advisor focused on new business development and advising clients on investment and wealth management strategies.
Prior to joining Chevy Chase Trust, Stacy had her own financial services practice for 15 years providing investment, insurance, and retirement planning services for wealthy individuals and law firms. She began her financial services career with the Wallace Financial Group in Bethesda, which later became the Commonwealth Financial Group.
Stacy earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She serves as Treasurer of Girls Up, a program for pre-teen girls focused on building self-confidence, self-awareness and self-protection. Additionally, Stacy is co-chair of the Washington, D.C. Affiliate of 2020 Women on Boards, a national campaign to increase the percentage of women serving on company boards to 20% by the year 2020. As a former board member of Round House Theatre, she continues her work there on the Patron Development Committee, and at Suburban Hospital, she serves on the Community Advisory Council.
