With nearly four decades of experience in trust, estate and financial planning, Leslie advises Chevy Chase Trust’s clients on complex planning matters and helps guide the firm’s strategic thinking on how to best meet the evolving needs of clients and their families.
From 2009 to 2021, Leslie was Head of the Planning Group at Chevy Chase Trust. Prior to joining the firm, she held the position of Managing Director at Citi Private Bank’s Washington, D.C. office. Before that, she was a Managing Director of U.S. Trust Company responsible for the management of the Washington, D.C. and Tyson’s Corner, Virginia offices. Her responsibilities at both organizations included providing financial and estate planning and fiduciary services to clients. Before moving into the wealth management industry, Leslie spent 19 years at the law firm of Shaw Pittman Potts & Trowbridge (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman), where she headed the Trusts and Estates practice.
Leslie graduated from the University of Georgia, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and also obtained her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif. She serves on the Professional Advisors Committee of the Greater Washington Community Foundation and is a member of the D.C. Estate Planning Council and the Estates, Trusts and Probate Law and Tax Sections of the D.C. Bar Association.
