Wealth Advisor and Relationship Manager
Claire is responsible for advising clients on investment management, financial and estate planning, and trust administration. She oversees the delivery of services to clients and coordinates with their legal, accounting, and other advisors.
Prior to Chevy Chase Trust, Claire was a Director for Wells Fargo’s Investment Portfolio in San Francisco. Before that, she led investment research as Vice President at Fundamental Credit Opportunities, a New York-based hedge fund. Previously, Claire worked in Singapore and New York for hedge fund York Capital Management, as well as in private equity for Saybrook Fund Advisors, fixed income research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and investment banking at UBS.
Claire graduated with high honors and distinction from the University of Virginia with a degree in economics. She earned her MBA from Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business, where she was awarded a merit-based scholarship. Claire was elected Treasurer and serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Citizens Association of Georgetown. She is the Vice Chair of the Investment Committee for the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, MD. Claire is also on the board of Georgetown’s Friends of Volta Park. She is active with the UVA and Dartmouth Alumni Associations, as well as the Women’s Bond Forum and National Federation of Municipal Analysts, where she has been a conference speaker and recognized for her investment research.
