Chevy Chase Trust supports Family Matters of Greater Washington

On Thursday, May 26, 2016, Chevy Chase Trust was proud to support Family Matters of Greater Washington at their Annual Awards Gala. The event, Reflecting Back, Looking Forward: Celebrating 50 Years of Camp Moss Hollow, brought more than 300 local leaders together to pledge their advocacy and financial support for Family Matters. Family Matters is greater Washington’s oldest social services organization advocating for the area’s most vulnerable citizens. They provide a robust offering of care solutions including comprehensive mental health services, therapeutic and traditional foster care, aging services, and the Send a Kid to Camp campaign. These services empower, enrich and elevate more than 20,000 local youth, seniors and families annually. Leon Harris, an award-winning journalist and ABC7 anchor, was awarded the Mary Alice Stoddard Community Service Award.
