Chevy Chase Trust Managing Director Featured in Bethesda Magazine

Featured in the recent Bethesda Magazine’s cover story “Local Cycling’s Weekend Warriors,” Michael Gildenhorn, Managing Director, credits cycling with enriching his life. It was a long distance charity ride that first inspired Gildenhorn to take up the sport which now has become vitally important to him. In addition to keeping him in shape, the cycling helps Michael to stay connected with friends, keeps him challenged and allows him to explore the world.

In June, Michael completed a 10 day, 850 mile ride along the Continental Divide from Winter Park, Colorado to Missoula, Montana. In July, he participated in Colorado’s famous Triple Bypass bike ride: a one day ride from Denver to Vail Colorado covering, 120 miles & 11,000 feet of climbing. In September, he is heading to Glacier National Park for a four day ride with his cycling club.
